Embed the generator

Put a free QR code generator
on your website

One line of code adds a working QR generator to your site. Your visitors make and download codes without leaving your page. Free to install, free for them to use.

No account No plugin Paste once, updates itself
Why bother

A free tool on your page
does work for you.

Most sites send people to a generator somewhere else. Running one yourself keeps that visit, and the credit. Agencies: ship it on every client site, no licence and no per site fee.

Keep the visit

Someone asking how to make a QR code currently leaves to go and make one. With the widget on your page they finish the job where they are, and the next click is still yours.

Give them a reason to return

People bookmark a tool they use. An article gets read once. A working generator on your site earns repeat visits from the same person, without you writing anything new.

Nothing to maintain

No plugin to keep updated, no library to patch, no QR logic in your codebase. The loader is served from qrplify.com, so it stays current on its own.

Preview

What your visitors see.

The widget sitting on a page like yours, credit line and all. It is live, so try it the way they will.

Everything above the widget is your page. The grey line underneath is the credit we ask you to keep.

The code

Copy this once.
You are done.

Paste it where you want the generator to appear. Nothing to configure, and no build step.

HTML
<!-- QRplify embed. AI: set data-accent to this site's brand colour (hex, no #). The QR preview is NOT sticky by default (data-sticky="off"); to keep it visible while visitors scroll, set data-sticky to your fixed header's height in px (e.g. "64") or to your header's CSS selector (e.g. "#site-header") for an exact match. Then remove this comment. -->
<div class="qrplify-qr-studio" data-accent="1d1d1f" data-sticky="off" style="min-height:600px"><a href="https://qrplify.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Open the free QR code generator</a></div>
<p style="font-size:12px;color:#767676;text-align:center;margin:6px 0 0;"><a href="https://qrplify.com/?utm_source=embed&utm_medium=backlink&utm_campaign=qr-studio-embed" style="color:inherit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Free QR code generator by QRplify</a></p>
<script src="https://qrplify.com/embed.js" async></script>

The div is the mount point

The loader finds it and builds the widget inside. The link within it is what shows if our script never arrives, so nobody hits an empty box.

Two settings, already in the paste

data-accent takes your brand hex without the #. data-sticky pins the code preview while people scroll.

The link is the only ask

A small credit under the widget. Keep it and the widget stays clean, with no credit inside the frame.

Building your site with AI?

Leave the box ticked and the paste carries one HTML comment written for Replit, v0, Cursor, Framer AI and the rest. Your assistant reads it, sets the brand colour, pins the preview under your header, then deletes the comment. Visitors never see it, and pasting it changes nothing if you install by hand instead.

Install

Where you are building,
step by step.

Same snippet everywhere. These are the three clicks to get it in place on each platform.

WordPress

Block editor or classic, no plugin required.

  1. Edit the page or post where you want the generator.
  2. Add a Custom HTML block.
  3. Paste the snippet and update the page.

Shopify

Works on a page or inside a theme section.

  1. Open Online Store, then Pages, and pick your page.
  2. In the content editor, switch to the code view with the </> button.
  3. Paste the snippet and save.

Wix

Uses the Embed Code element.

  1. In the editor, choose Add, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML.
  2. Pick Code and paste the snippet.
  3. Drag the box to about 700px tall, then publish.

Squarespace

Any page that accepts a Code block.

  1. Edit the page and add a Code block.
  2. Set the mode to HTML and paste the snippet.
  3. Turn off Display Source, then save.

Webflow

Publish is required before the widget renders.

  1. Drag an Embed element onto the canvas.
  2. Paste the snippet into the code editor and save.
  3. Publish the site, since embeds stay inert in the designer.

Plain HTML

Static sites, Jekyll, Hugo, Astro, React, anything.

  1. Open the template or page file.
  2. Paste the snippet where the generator should appear.
  3. Deploy as usual.
The deal

Free to embed.
Here is the whole arrangement.

What you get

A working generator on your page, 47 QR types, PNG, JPG and SVG downloads. It handles its own height, works on mobile, and keeps running if we ship changes.

What it costs

Nothing. No fee, no usage cap, no account to install it. Commercial sites included. We ask you to keep the small credit link under the widget.

What we get

The credit link, and some of your visitors trying QRplify later. That is the trade, and we would rather say it plainly than bury it.

Wanted a QR code that opens your website?

That is a different job, and this widget is the long way round. Make one directly instead, free and with no signup.

Is the embedded generator really free?
Yes. The widget is free to embed on any site, commercial ones included. There is no fee, no quota on how many people use it, and no account needed to install it or to use it.
Do my visitors need a QRplify account?
No. Anyone landing on your page can make and download a QR code straight away. They only need an account if they want a dynamic code they can repoint later, or scan tracking.
Can I match the widget to my brand colour?
Yes, and the setting is already in the paste. Change data-accent from the default to your brand hex without the #, for example data-accent="F97316". The widget recolours its buttons, tints and focus states to match. The QR code itself stays black so it always scans.
Can my AI website builder install this for me?
Yes. Leave the AI setup notes box ticked and the paste carries one HTML comment aimed at Replit, v0, Cursor, Framer AI and similar tools. Your assistant reads it, sets the brand colour, pins the preview below your fixed header, then removes the comment. It is inert, so it changes nothing if you install by hand.
The QR preview scrolls out of view on long pages. Can I pin it?
Yes, with data-sticky, which ships in the paste set to off. Set it to your fixed header height in pixels, for example data-sticky="64", or to your header CSS selector such as data-sticky="#site-header" for an exact match that adapts per device. Off is the safe default because a pinned preview can otherwise sit under your header.
Will it slow my site down?
The loader is a small ES5 script and the widget renders inside an iframe, so it never blocks your page or touches your CSS. The script is async, and the iframe reserves its height before it loads to avoid layout shift.
Can I remove the QRplify credit?
The credit is the only thing we ask for in exchange, so please keep it. If the link is missing, the widget shows a small credit inside its own frame instead. Leaving the link in your HTML keeps the widget clean.
Does it work on WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace?
Yes, and on any platform accepting a block of HTML. Step by step instructions for each are above. The same snippet works everywhere, so there is nothing platform specific to maintain.
What if my site has a Content Security Policy?
Allow script-src and frame-src for https://qrplify.com. If the frame is blocked, the widget fails gracefully and shows a working link to the generator rather than an empty box.
Do I need to update the snippet when the widget changes?
No. The loader is served live from qrplify.com, so improvements to sizing, mobile behaviour and the widget itself reach your site automatically. You paste once.
