QRplify is operated by Growth Ninja Group LLC, a Delaware company in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It covers qrplify.com and the QRplify app at app.qrplify.com.
Information we collect
- Account details: your email address and password when you create an account.
- QR code content: the data you put into the codes you create, such as URLs, text, WiFi details, contact details, menus, and uploaded files.
- Scan analytics: when someone scans a dynamic QR code, we record the time, the IP address the scan came from, approximate location, device type, and referrer so we can show you scan statistics.
- Lead form answers: when someone fills in a lead form on one of your codes, we store their answers and the IP address they sent them from, and show both to you in the app.
- Billing information: if you buy a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: pages you visit, features you use, and basic technical data such as browser type and IP address.
- How you found us: on your first visit, your browser keeps a short note of the site or campaign that sent you, the first page you saw and the date, and adds the page where you click to sign up; it keeps the note for up to 90 days. If you create an account, the note goes with your sign-up, so we can see which channels bring customers. It holds no name, email address or other contact details.
- Your visit trail: while analytics is allowed, a cookie named qrplify_trail keeps the first page you landed on, the site that sent you, when you first came, how many visits and pages you made, your last 5 pages, and the QR code type you made and whether you downloaded or copied it. It keeps it for up to 90 days, and if you create an account the app reads it with your sign-up. It holds no name, email address or other contact details, and switching analytics off deletes it.
- Partner applications: if you apply to the Partner Program, your name, email address, how you would share QRplify and your QRplify account email if you give it, to review your application and reply.
- Cookies: small files that keep you signed in, help us measure how the site is used, and let our advertising partners measure our ads.
How we use your information
- Run the service and keep your dynamic QR codes pointing to the right destination.
- Show you scan statistics for your codes.
- Process payments and manage your subscription.
- Respond to support requests.
- Improve the product and fix problems.
- Send service messages about your account. We only send marketing email if you opt in.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, to understand how visitors use the site, and to remember how you first found us. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to measure traffic and see how pages are used, and Meta's and Google's ad cookies to measure our ads. If you visit from the EU or the EEA, we ask before using analytics or advertising cookies, and you choose analytics, advertising, both or neither. If you visit from the UK or Switzerland, Google Analytics counts visits from the start so we can improve the site, and we ask before using Microsoft Clarity or advertising cookies; Reject all, or switching analytics off, turns Google Analytics off too. Wherever you are, you can change your choice any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Payment processors, to handle billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers, to run the service.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity), to measure how the site and app are used.
- Advertising partners (Meta and Google Ads), to measure and improve our ads. When you sign up or pay, they receive a coded (hashed) copy of your email address and name, your account ID, the event, and technical data such as browser type, IP address and their cookie IDs. They never receive your password, your QR code content or your payment details.
- The owner of a QR code, who sees the scan statistics and lead form answers for that code.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.
Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is open. We keep QR code and scan data so your codes keep working and your statistics stay accurate. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons. Browser data we keep to measure our ads (browser type, IP address and advertising cookie IDs) is deleted after 30 days. Meta and Google keep what they receive under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email info@qrplify.com and we will action your request. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.
International transfers
We operate from the United States. If you use QRplify from another country, your data may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate.
Children
QRplify is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the new version here and update the date below. We will tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.
