1. Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QRplify (“QRplify”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including the QRplify Web App and the QRplify Chrome Extension (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

QRplify provides tools to create, customize, and manage QR codes, including static and dynamic QR codes, hosted pages, file sharing, and related features.

You may use the Service for personal, business, or commercial purposes, as long as you follow these Terms and all applicable laws.

3. Accounts and security

Some features require an account in the web app. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information.
  • Keep your login details secure.
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us promptly at info@qrplify.com.

4. Plans, billing, and refunds

Some features are offered under paid plans. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe).

  • Billing: Pricing and billing terms are shown at checkout.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Your plan benefits typically remain active until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds: Where stated at purchase, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. Refund eligibility depends on the plan and purchase terms shown at checkout.

Stripe may store and process your payment information under its own terms. We do not store full card details on our servers.

5. Your content and QR destinations

“Your Content” means any content you submit, upload, or publish through QRplify (for example URLs, text, files, landing pages, menus, and forms).

  • You keep ownership of Your Content.
  • You confirm you have the rights needed to use and publish Your Content.
  • You are responsible for the destinations your QR codes point to and for the accuracy of your content.

We may host Your Content (such as landing pages or uploaded files) so that QR codes can work as expected.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use QRplify to create, share, or promote content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive. This includes:

  • Malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • Phishing, impersonation, scams, or fraud.
  • Content that violates privacy, intellectual property rights, or other rights.
  • Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or abusive behavior.
  • Illegal products, services, or regulated activity that violates local law.

You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or interfere with the Service.
  • Access the Service in a way that disrupts performance or security.
  • Bypass limits, restrictions, or controls we put in place.

7. QR code availability, limits, and changes

We aim to keep QR codes working without an expiration date. However, we may suspend or disable QR codes or content when needed to:

  • Comply with law, court orders, or valid legal requests.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, or security risks.
  • Enforce these Terms or protect users and the public.

7.1 Dynamic vs static

  • Static QR codes: the destination is fixed after creation. If you need changes, you must create a new code and replace printed materials.
  • Dynamic QR codes: you can change the destination later, and some dynamic codes support analytics and exports.

7.2 Scan limits and allowed scans

Some plans or settings may include scan limits or “allowed scans” controls. If an allowed scans limit is reached, a QR code may stop working.

If you change short link settings after printing, older printed QR codes may stop working. You are responsible for reprinting if you make changes that break printed codes.

8. Chrome Extension terms

The QRplify Chrome Extension stores QR content and settings locally in your browser. The extension is intended for generating QR codes in the browser.

  • The extension does not require an account to use basic features.
  • No cookies are used inside the extension.
  • Some features may require the web app (for example dynamic management and analytics).

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, branding, and site content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You may not use our name or logo without written permission.
  • You may not copy or republish our website content or product UI for commercial use without permission.

QR codes you create and Your Content remain yours.

10. Third-party services

QRplify may use third-party services (for example Stripe, analytics, hosting, security, and automation tools). These services operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle information and cookies. By using QRplify, you agree to those policies as well.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk for users or the platform.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request account deletion by contacting us.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that the Service will be error-free.

QRplify is not responsible for third-party destinations, websites, or apps that your QR codes link to, or for user-generated content published by you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRplify and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for claims related to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 3 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater, unless applicable law requires a different limit.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify QRplify from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your QR destinations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Unless prohibited by law, you agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
