1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use QRplify. It covers both the QRplify Chrome Extension (available in the Chrome Web Store) and the QRplify Web App (app.qrplify.com).

We aim to follow applicable privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, and the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

3.1 QRplify Chrome Extension

The QRplify Chrome Extension does not collect or transmit personal information to our servers. Data you enter in the extension (such as QR content, colors, and history) is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

  • No account is required to use the extension.
  • No tracking scripts, cookies, or analytics run inside the extension.
  • The extension can be used anonymously and can work offline.

3.2 QRplify Web App (app.qrplify.com)

When you use the web app, we may collect:

Note: Scan analytics and exports apply to dynamic QR codes. Static QR codes do not include scan analytics.

  • Process subscriptions and payments (via Stripe)

  • Cloudflare: performance and security (including CDN and anti-abuse protections)

  • Microsoft Clarity: interaction insights (web app)
  • Growth Ninja CRM (powered by GoHighLevel): lead capture, automation, and campaign workflows (only if you use these features)

We may also share information if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect QRplify and users from abuse or security threats.

If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on the following legal bases where applicable:

  • Contract: to provide the web app, create QR codes, and deliver features you request
  • Legitimate interests: to secure the platform, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and UX
